Today, we’d like to introduce you to the New York City Comadres Network.
Our New York City facilitators are Gladys, Miriam, Nilda and Maria. They host Comadrazos throughout New York City planning events and outings such as museum trips or picnics in one of the many NYC parks to bring Latinas together to enjoy comradery and share updates on their lives, passion, and other upcoming events.
The New York City Network is one of the oldest of Las Comadres groups and also began our Latino Lit program promoting Latino authors.
For the second year in a row, the New York City Comardes adopted a Middle School in the Bronx and collected school supplies for its students. This year, we also hosted our founder, Nora Comstock.
