KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Lourdes J. Rodríguez, DrPH
Lourdes J. Rodríguez, DrPH, is the Chief Executive Officer of the David Rockefeller Fund. She previously served as a senior program officer at the Austin-based St. David’s Foundation, one of the country’s largest health foundations. Prior to that, Lourdes served as Associate Professor and Director of Community-Driven Initiatives at the Dell Medical School at the University Texas at Austin. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of the Connecticut and her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.

we choose to be comadres. It is not an identity that is externally imposed…Being a Comadre can be the starting point for friendships, but let’s not get all kumbaya, we don’t all have to be friends. But we can all be connected to each other in ways that help us improve each other’s circumstances, and the circumstances of nuestra gente.”
