2021 Worldwide Comadrazo

 WORLDWIDE COMADRAZO

Las Comadres turned 21 this year this year and we celebrated with our first virtual Worldwide Comadrazo on April 17, 2021.

The Honorable Nellie M. Gorbea, Rhode Island Secretary
of State and a Comadre, was our Keynote Speaker, and she spoke about forming “Fierce Friendships” in order to succeed.

We also introduced The Nora Awards, named in honor of our National / International Founder, Dr. Nora de Hoyos Comstock.  Meet the Comadre of the Year, the Comadre Community Service award winner and the Friend of Las Comadres award recipient here.  (link to new winner page)

There were speeches by the Board President of Las Comadres Teresa Lara, Secretary Gorbea, and of course, Nora.  Click here to view her moving speech. Also,  click here for the PDFs of the Commemorative Book and the WWC Holding Slides.

Mark your calendars for our next Worldwide Comadrazo in April 2023 in Austin, Texas.   Until then, take care and stay connected to your Comadres.

There will be a special keynote speaker, various breakout rooms, and we’ll hear from our National/International Founder, Nora de Hoyos Comstock.

If you missed the WORLDWIDE COMADRAZO don’t worry, we’ll return in 2023.
