Named in honor of our National/International Founder, Nora de Hoyos Comstock
, The Nora Awards recognizes active Comadres who exemplify the virtues of Loyalty, Generosity, Sisterhood and Kindness.
- The Nora Award for Comadre of the Year is for a Comadre who has helped another Comadre.
- The Nora Award for Comadre Community Service is for a Comadre who has helped her community.
- The Nora Award for A Friend to Las Comadres is for a company who continually supports our organization and the Latino community at large.
All nominations are confidential. All nominations will be considered. Judges will include Las Comadres Board of Directors, the Executive Director and Awards Committee Members. Only one winner per category. All decisions are final.
